Why I started Over Par Originals
Golf found me young. Family rounds, hand me down clubs, the slow addiction of wanting to get better. Somewhere along the way it stopped being a sport and became my thing - the reason I plan my summers, the reason I practice in February, the reason I'm still chasing something I'll probably never catch.
I started Over Par Originals because I couldn't find anything that matched my style. Somewhere at the intersection of streetwear and country club, not much existed. I got tired of traditional golf apparel and the two options on the rack: tucked polos and khakis that feel like a dress code or hype drops that cost more than a green fee.
This brand is for the rest of us. The twilight-nine crowd. The guys who drive an hour to a public course because it's worth it. The weekend warriors grinding to break 90 and the scratch players grinding to break par - it's the same obsession.
I’m a 5 handicap with scratch aspirations. I'm not here to gatekeep, I'm here to make the uniform for Canadian golfers who love this game six months a year, and play it the other six.
Par is just a starting point. Let's look good, play good, and have fun doing it.
