Why I started Over Par Originals

Golf found me young. Family rounds, hand me down clubs, the slow addiction of wanting to get better. Somewhere along the way it stopped being a sport and became the thing - the reason I plan my summers, the reason I practice in February, the reason I'm still chasing something I'll probably never catch.

I started Over Par Originals because I got tired of the two options on the rack. One side: tucked polos and khakis that feel like a dress code. The other: $200 hype drops that cost more than a green fee and feel like a costume the second you step off the tee.

This brand is for the rest of us. The twilight-nine crowd. The guys who drive an hour to a public course because it's worth it. The weekend warriors grinding to break 90 and the scratch players grinding to break par - its the same obsession.

I play to a low single digit. I'm not here to gatekeep. I'm here to make the uniform for Canadian golfers who love this game six months a year, and play it the other six.

Par is just a starting point.
